In the last few years, he has been exploring Rust through real-world IIoT projects, evaluating its use in production-grade edge systems.

His work focuses on bringing modern cloud-native practices, such as Kubernetes, GitOps, and observability, into industrial edge environments where systems have traditionally been designed to remain unchanged for years. This approach enables industrial systems to evolve more safely and reliably over time, while supporting growing cybersecurity requirements around continuous maintenance, patching, and software updates.
